WARNING:

Participation in the conference requires advance registration.

On-site registration is limited and is by no means guaranteed.

Online registration is completely secure and preferred.

All registered paricipant will receive a confirmation email, during the week before the holding of the conférence.

People who used a type of payment, different from online payment, must, previously, inform the organizer and bring proof of payment when registering on site.

The primary objective of the conference is to bring together statisticians from academia as well as other research institutions working on different theoretical aspects and relevant applications of latent variable models to the health sciences and to provide a forum to share ideas, problems and methodologies. Potential participants could be biostatisticians, psychometricians, and public health professionals active in the field of Health Measurement, Latent Variable modeling and related methods.

The meeting is intended to serve as an interdisciplinary workshop to discuss theoretical and applied statistical issues concerning design, measurement, and analysis of latent variables in health and to foster interaction among researchers who are likely to bring important interdisciplinary insights to the field. Thus, we hope that the conference will be an occasion for people to present new ideas as well as problems that are worth considering for further investigation. Special attention will be given to encourage Phd students to participate.
